A Look Inside: Uncovery + Insights
Uncovery & Insights is a process of neutralizing root causes by illuminating the individual and collective strengths, capabilities, motivations and pathways that exist under disorder through targeted intervention. Read below to see how Uncovery + Insights is informed by our Engagement Experience, and how this offering intersects with LAD’s Core Mission and Values.
“The act of excavating and bringing to light the underlying root causes for symptoms of disorder that exist within systems.”
Businesses are tired of the reactionary responding loop - patching holes with band aid solutions that are at the least temporary, and at the worst, disconnected from the deeper issue that needs solving. This is where LAD shines! Our goal with the Uncovery + Insights packages in any engagement is a foundational one - to identify the long term solutions, strategies and tools that will reduce the need for reactionary responding, reduce fires, and bring your organization and people into order.
Review the Concentrations
1. Strategic Directions in Leadership: Great for Strategic Planning and Change Management Initiatives
This concentration allows you to bring into tight focus the core components of a great strategic plan, the leaders. We use the LEA Strategic Directions Assessment to support a number of activities including establish a common language and clear expectations for leadership; clarify developmental priorities for the organization’s leaders and establish criteria for training and development initiatives; and identify action steps for the senior management team.
2. Role Expectations: Great for Executive Search, Transitions, and Pipeline Development
This concentration supports you and your team in developing the leadership roles that will support your organization right now. The insights gathered from the LEA Role Expectations assessment can be used to move forward with a focused and successful Executive Search, develop an internal leadership development pipeline, or make a decision between candidates.
3. Organizational Culture: Great for Change Management Projects, Organizational Culture
One of the trendiest topics in society today and one of the hardest components of an organization to work on. Why? Because the organization is made up of people with individual needs, wants and motivations. In this concentration, we focus on identifying the priority areas for remediation, clarifying the direction of change, connecting these to the larger vision of the organization and providing solutions.
4. Teams
Ah, teaming! Regardless of whether you have a team of veteran collaborators or everyone is new to the group, problems can ensue. Our goal is to facilitate the navigation of sore spots in communication, shared visioning, and more to move your team’s focus towards actionable results.
